Last week, London Build Expo 2024 brought together construction professionals, innovators, and thought leaders to tackle some of the industry’s most pressing challenges. We were thrilled to take part in this exciting show to showcase our embodied carbon management solutions and connect with so many individuals passionate about shaping a more sustainable future for construction.

Sustainability in the spotlight

One of the highlights of our time at the expo was the participation of our Co-CEO Thomas Jusselme in the panel discussion, "Materials Matter: Exploring Renewable Resources in Sustainable Design". Alongside industry experts from Mace, Wates Group, John Sisk & Son Ltd and JENSEN HUNT DESIGN, Thomas explored the critical role materials play in reducing embodied carbon and advancing sustainable construction practices.

The conversation emphasized two key themes:

  • The need for innovation in materials and tools to reduce carbon footprints.
  • The importance of collaboration across the supply chain to make sustainable practices the norm, not the exception.

The session served as a powerful reminder that reducing embodied carbon is no longer a choice - it’s a necessity for meeting global climate goals and driving long-term industry success.

Connecting on our stand

Beyond the panel discussion, our stand was a hub of energy and ideas. Attendees from across the construction sector stopped by to learn about our innovative tools, which empower professionals to:

  • Measure and manage embodied carbon effectively;
  • Implement Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) solutions into their projects.

It was inspiring to see so many professionals eager to embrace new technologies that align with their sustainability ambitions. These interactions reinforced our commitment to developing practical, impactful solutions that support the industry’s transition toward a low-carbon future.

A shared commitment to change

At Vizcab, we believe that progress is built on collaboration. That’s why events like London Build Expo are so vital - they bring together diverse voices from across the industry to share insights, spark ideas, and lay the groundwork for transformative change.

The conversations and connections from London Build Expo 2024 are just the beginning. As we continue to address the challenges of embodied carbon, collaboration will remain at the heart of our work. Together, we can drive innovation, adopt better practices, and ensure the construction industry is prepared to meet the demands of a more sustainable future.

If you missed us at the expo or want to learn more about Vizcab’s solutions, don’t hesitate to reach out - we’d love to continue the conversation!
